Navigating Short Term Rentals in the Crested Butte area can be daunting. There are many different rules and regulations for each area. I’ve compiled a list of documents below to help bring clarity to our short-term rental guidelines.
Short-term rental is defined as renting a property for less than 30 consecutive days. If you own short-term lodging units, any rental of a unit for less than 30 consecutive days is taxable and you are required to collect and remit sales tax.
