Welcome to the JR Ranch located in the small peaceful town of Dove Creek, CO- the self proclaimed Pinto Bean Capital. This unique property has a little bit for everyone. JR Ranch has year-round access and for the hunters in your family it borders +-4,991 acres of BLM on one side and then surrounded by large private ranches giving you a feel of total tranquility. In the middle of the ranch leads to a beautiful canyon and forest. JR sits in BGU 72 which is known for its large mule deer and giant elk that cross over from the Utah border. Elk tags are OTC. If you are interested in Native American history there are 4 ruins on the property and any and all artifacts will transfer with the sale of the land. Who knows what is still yet to be discovered. JR Ranch also has power to the corner of the property and several building sites are available with views in any direction. The location of the property is also great for skiing as both Telluride and Purgatory are about 1.5 hours away and 1.5 hours to Moab and only 35 minutes to Cortez and Dolores.
