Market Conditions

Real estate has been BUSY! New listings are up 21% and under contracts are up 304%. We currently have $146M under contract. At this rate, we will surpass last year’s sales. Other Colorado resort communities are seeing strong sales as well. I believe this trend will continue as more people are working from home and some schools continuing with on-line learning. Buyers may be wondering if now is the time to buy. I believe Crested Butte has the best value and best bang for your buck out of the resort communities. When compared to Aspen, Telluride, and Vail, we are still a fraction of the price. If we fast forward a few years, those that purchased now will be happy they did.

Vail Resorts Update

New this year, Vail resorts will implement a reservation system. Each pass holder can reserve 7 spots throughout the ski season and no limits on week-of reservations. Crested Butte has always been less crowded than other Colorado ski resorts, it’s my hope this reservation system won’t affect us too much. For more information on the reservation system, please Click Here.
