In September I normally post a picture with Aspens turning gold, yet this year the wildflowers continue to be amazing.  I know it won’t be long before the leaves turn, but until then, I hope you are enjoying the extended wildflower season.

September 7thBeer and Chili Festival
Live music, chili, and beer!  An annual event that sells out, get your tickets early.
The Go Initiative, 4th Annual Park to Peak to Pint Run.
September 14th2nd Street Walking Tour
Join the Crested Butte Heritage Museum and Glo Cummingham on a historic tour of 2nd street, once the hub of Crested Butte.
September 15th – 21stVinotok
One of the most unique and local traditions in Crested Butte.
Collegiate mountain bike programs from across the region gather at CBMR for two days of racing in multiple disciplines.
September 26th – 29thCrested Butte Film Festival
“One of the 25 Coolest Film Festival in the World” – Moviemaker Magazine.
September 28thCrested Butte Ultra
1st Annual Ultra running race to be held at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.  A 55k and 105k option!
It won’t be long until the slopes open.  The Epic Ski Pass early-bird price deadline is September 2nd (sorry that one was quick this year).  The Nordic Ski Pass early-bird price deadline is November 1st.
