May 2019 Calendar of Events

Waking up to 6″ of new snow is not necessary what you hope for in May, yet that is life in the mountains.  Luckily it will melt quickly and before we know it, summer will be here.  With all the moisture this year, no doubt our wildflowers will be amazing!  For those ready to mountain bike, Hartmans is open!  Photo below, from TravelCrestedButte, is not a current photo, yet it won’t be long.

A few May Activities;

May 4th – Watercolors and Wine
A step by step watercolor class complete with wine for those over 21.

May 16th, 17th and 18th – CB School of Dance Presents Elevate
The School of Dance teens and adults bring you a high energy performance with a mix of aerial, hip-hop, tap, ballet, pointe, and jazz funk.  Buy tickets early, shows will sellout.

May 22nd – Monthly Film Series – Blindspotting
Exploding with energy, style and raw emotions, Blindspotting unravels today’s intersection of race and class with urgent and poetic justice.  With a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this film is worth seeing!

May 23rd – Creativity and Cocktails
Join the amazing Mary Tuck for a fun night of jewelry making.  Those 21 and older, a cocktail is included.

Real Estate continues to be busy.  For those that missed my 2019 Quarterly Report, please Click Here.  I’m including a great article about the Top 3 Colorado Ski Town Investments 2019 – Crested Butte made the list!  Many believe Crested Butte is a great investment, with growing tourist numbers and a severe lack in local housing – investing in a home for long or short term is a great bet.  For those that like to see the latest inventory of homes, condos and land, please visit my website, CrestedButteLiving.com

I hope to see you around town!
