June in Crested Butte

Yes! Summer is here. After a snowy cold May, the valley is finally seeing summer. The fields are a vibrant green and we are seeing the colorful start to our wildflower season. For many of us, summer in Crested Butte doesn't get any better. See below for a great lineup of activities and events.

June 6th - 27th, Unleashing Pride Exhibition at Center for the Arts (Kick off Pride Month at the Center by celebrating the local LGBTQIA+ artists of Gunnison and Crested Butte.)
June 8th, Bike Park Opening at CBMR (The trails open up with the Red Lady running June 8th and the Silver Queen starting June 22nd)

Junior Bike Week, from June 26-30, 2024, is the world's only multi-day festival for kids on bikes. Crested Butte Mountain Resort Reopening

Exciting news! Crested Butte Mountain Resort is reopening for summer fun. This summer, enjoy the Red Lady and Silver Queen lifts, with Red Lady running daily starting June 8th and the Silver Queen starting on June 22nd. Enjoy activities like bike haul, disc golf, archery, lift-served hiking, and scenic lift rides. Learn more here.
