January in Crested Butte
Historically January is a good snow month and after the holiday rush, we get spoiled with nonexistent lift lines. Combine the two and it’s a great month to be in Crested Butte! We received almost a foot of fresh snow in the last 24 hours and with the high lift opening today….it’s been hard staying in the office! Photo below from Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
January Activities;
January 12th – Center for the Arts Presents, Shane Smith and the Saints
Singer-songwriter Shane Smith leads this hard edged, Austin based, Americana quintet, robust with powerful vocals, four part harmonies and thumping four beat drums. Click Here for tickets.
January 13th – Food Pantry Donation Day
Is there anything better than helping those in need and getting in some turns? With a food pantry donation, full day lift tickets are just $50.
January 16th – 19th – Mountain High Music Festival

January 19th – CB Nordic Center Yurt Dinners

January 20th – Full Moon at Twin Peaks
Come celebrate the full moon at the Umbrella Bar. Tickets $60/person, includes a sleigh ride, appetizers and one drink. Purchase tickets at the Adventure Center.
January 22nd – Center for the Arts Presents Sam Bush
Legendary mandolin master, Sam Bush, has long established himself as a bluegrass royalty. Click Here for tickets.
January 24th – 27th – Fat Tire World Championships
