“Funtober” October activities in Crested Butte

IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO ENJOY THE FUN ACTIVITIES IN OCTOBER!  HERE ARE JUST A FEW THINGS GOING ON THE REST OF THIS MONTH

 

Wednesday October 11 & 18
Join local chef and home winemaker, Tim Egelhoff, for a series of wine making and tasting classes. Participants make a batch of Cabernet Sauvignon from juice to finished bottle. Each participant takes home a few bottles of the finished wine. At each class, participants learn and discuss the basics of wine tasting, while sampling small-bite appetizers prepared by the chef. October 19th at the Crested Butte Library

FUNTOBER October 21st
Face Painting, Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Painting, Caramel Apple Bar… A free event for kids and Adults to raise awareness for The gO Initiative, a new non-profit organization aiming to educate and mentor young kids on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, physically and mentally. Located outside of The Trailhead Children’s Museum (19 Emmons Loop) at the base of CBMR. Sunday, from 2pm-6pm. $7 per person. Wear your best Halloween Costume for a chance to win our Costume Contest (adult & child prizes!). Come for our pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, face paint, games, crafts, costume sale by CB School of Dance, Touch a Truck, raffle prizes, bake sale, drinks, and chili & cornbread made by our very own Valley Soup Mama!

 

Friday October 27th
Celebrate the Halloween season for the gathering of the undead in its creative ghoulish glory at the 7th Annual KBUT Zombie Prom. Held at the Talk of the Town. Tickets are $20 and available at the door. Doors open at 9 p.m. This is a 21 and over event. For more information please visit https://www.kbut.org/prom
