The Odyssey series consists of twelve letterbox stills from the iconic Stanley Kubrick film 2001: A Space Odyssey recreated in cross stitch.

Open shows give local and emerging artists the opportunity to submit their work for display in a dynamic and diverse way. Each artist is allowed a max of three entries. All ages and levels of artists are welcome to submit artwork, both 2D & 3D. Artwork must be secure and ready to install/hang on the wall.
February 8 – Paint Your Own Pottery
Create a special keepsake or gift at one of our Paint Your Own Pottery sessions! A fun activity for kids, families, friends or co-workers and is available to all ability levels. Prices vary.
February 15 – Moonlight Concert Series: You Knew Me When
Outfitted with an array of instruments, You Knew Me When is a husband and wife indie folk-rock pairing with a full band sound.
February 20 – Canvas and Cocktails
Grab your friends and co-workers for an evening of entertaining art instruction while sipping on tasty cocktails. You will go home with a complete painting while learning the basics of acrylic painting.
February 20 – Vision Workshop: Live Your Next Decade by Design
Carla Fanciullo, Registered Occupational Therapist, will help you explore your current mindset and create a vision for yourself to live now and into the future. This program is free and open to all.
February 22 – Third Annual Gunni Gras – Mardi Gras Parade
Entry in the parade is free. Parade down Main Street to the Gunnison Arts Center with a community New Orleans inspired party with the Western Colorado University Jazz Band. Free
February 27-29 – 31st SonofaGunn: “It’s Always Sunny in Gunny”
Celebrate, laugh and support the Gunnison Arts Center’s annual fundraiser during this boisterously merry event. Be sure to get your tickets early before they sell out.
