February in Crested Butte
February is shaping up to be another great snow month. The mountain is reporting 152″ of snowfall this season with 10″ inches predicted with the next storm coming in tonight. For those that like to keep a close eye on snow conditions in Colorado, Open Snow is one of my favorite sites. I hope you are out enjoying it!

February 7th – 9th – CB School of Dance Presents See a Red Door
This may be some of the best sound tracks yet….classic rock and roll. Come support our amazing dance community as they bring passion and talent to the stage.
February 9th – US Extreme Skiing Championships
Come to the famed extreme terrain to see some amazing athletes push the limits of the sport.
February 9th – Historic Walking Tour
Every Saturday at 2:00pm take a stroll down Elk Ave while learning the history of this amazing town.
February 9th – CB Unplugged
Head to the Adventure Park tent for Drew and Eli Emmitt and friends. A free concert, starting at 4:00. This will be a crowd favorite!
February 14th – Valentine Yurt Dinner
I can’t think of any better way to celebrate Valentine’s then with a Yurt Dinner.
February 15th, 16th and 17th – Oscar Short Films
Come see all three nights of Oscar nominated short films in all three categories, short, live and animated.
February 19th – Full Moon at Ten Peaks
Come celebrate the full moon at the Umbrella Bar with heavy appetizers and wine/beer. Starts at 5:00, tickets at the Adventure Center.
February 20th, 22nd and 23rd – Move the Butte
The Crested Butte Dance Collective’s wildly creative signature production celebrates it’s 10th anniversary. A fun and funky show!
February 21st – Center for the Arts Presents Pat Green
Pat Green once again brings his sold out show to the Center.
February 21st – 24th – Prater Cup
The Prater Cup, an annual youth ski race will bring over 250 of the top alpine ski racers to Crested Butte
February 22nd and 23rd – Murder in the Mountain Mini Noir Festival
