The Crested Butte Real Estate Market had a record-breaking 1st quarter. The Number of Sales and Sales Volume is up in all categories. Land is leading the charge with a 350% increase in the number of land sales. As home prices continue to rise, buyers are seeing the value in building instead of buying a preexisting home.
Crested Butte is a bit slow during the off-season, yet reservations are up for the summer season. We are expecting our busy real estate market to continue. The question asked most often….will the prices continue to climb? If both interest rates and inventory stay low – we will continue to see prices increase. With the summer season approaching, there are opportunities for both Buyers and Sellers.
