One of Colorado’s hidden gems. The Club at Crested Butte. This Championship course was designed by world-renowned course architect, Robert Trent Jones II. This 160 acre paradisiacal course is surrounded by spectacular mountain views, whispering aspens and trout filled ponds. Come experience golfing at 9,000 feet! But hurry the course closes in mid/late October.
Dyke trail in the fall is one of the most stunning and more difficult trails to ride during the autumn season. This local favorite takes you to some of the most extreme climbs, and tough descents. But if color is what your looking for you wont be disappointed with stream crossings, fall foliage, and glorious mountain views!
Taylor River, East River, Gunnison River, Blue Mesa, Black Canyon, are just a few of the pristine fishing sought out by tourists and locals alike. Incredible Mountain valleys and plenty of sunshine make fly fishing Crested Butte Wilderness one of the best trout fishing in the world.  With nearby mountain streams, rivers, and lakes, you will find Cutthroat, Brook, Rainbow and Brown trout.
Several places in the valley offer trail rides on public and private land. The Crested Butte area has a long tradition of ranching—you’ll see it when you arrive, driving up the Gunnison Valley toward Crested Butte. There’s perhaps no better way to experience those ranching roots than on horseback, meandering through the beautiful mountain meadows and majestic aspen groves.
