At a glance, it’s easy to see land sales were the leader of the pack with a 40% increase in sold listings and a whopping 49% increase in total volume. Condos and Townhomes are showing slightly stronger numbers in 2018. Both the Single Family and Luxury sales have been lagging behind and are bit soft. I do believe our low inventory levels have played a key role in the lower real estate sales for 2018.
The resort sale to Vail Resorts has created some real estate buzz and with the Epic Ski pass, we are certain to see more skier visitors this winter. I’m expecting a busy ski season which in turn pushes real estate sales.
