Crested Butte provide some of the best places to eat and enjoy happy hour. Use this list as a guide, however keep in mind this does not encompass all the dining our area has to offer.
Many people enjoy apres-ski – here are some on mountain suggestions that you must ski to:
Paraside Warming House – Located at the base of Paradise Lift. This location offers a large outdoor space to enjoy a cocktail or snack. There is a cafeteria inside that offers soups, sandwiches, pasta and quick snacks when you’re on the go. During certain times of the year Paradise will offer events such as the Pirate Party and offers an outdoor grill and music.
Uley’s Cabin – If you’re in the mood for an up-scale lunch I would suggest Uley’s Cabin situated on Peanut off the Red Lady lift. They also have an outdoor ice bar which attracts a lot of people for a mid-run drink. Enjoy your beverage on the large outdoor deck and take in the sites.
Umbrella Bar – The newest bar/restaurant located at the top of the Painter Boy lift. The building is circular and provides 360 degree views for all to enjoy. With a simple menu of sandwiches, wraps and chili at reasonable prices it attracts many. The portions are also plenty to fuel the hungry skier.
There are many apres-ski options that do not require a lift ride and a ski.
Avalanche Bar and Grill – Situated next to the Emmons building across from Lodge at Mountaineer Square the Avi as most call it is a great option. With a full menu of food including entrees, salads, appetizers, etc there is something for everyone. They also offer an extensive drink menu.
Butte 66 – Located right at the bottom of Red Lady lift this is a great option for anyone wanting to watch the skiers. You can sit on their large second story deck and take in the views. They offer a simple menu with an array of options and drinks.
Brown Lab and Bakery – You cannot beat their $1 pizza slices after 3:00pm. You will find most of the locals in this spot. They also offer additional bakery options and a full bar. You’ll find the Brown Lab and Bakery located slope side on the second story near SlopeSide.
