Market Conditions

New listings remain unchanged, while under-contracts are down by 15%. Months supply of inventory is at 2 (if no new homes came on the market, in 2 months, inventory would be at zero). With such low inventory, it’s not surprising to see the under-contracts have also gone down.

Gunnison Trails Update

Hartman Rocks is now closed to motorized and mechanized use due to mud season starting on March 21. Foot traffic is still permitted, but it is advised to go in the morning when conditions are frozen to minimize impact. Trails in the northwest corner of the Signal Peak area are closed to all uses from March 15 to May 15 to protect Gunnison Sage grouse.

It was a great winter season; I hope you enjoyed it. Gunnison always sees spring/summer sooner than Crested Butte. Before long, the trails will start blooming, and summer will be on its way.
