At a glance, it’s easy to see land sales were the leader of the pack with a 90% increase in sold listings and a 35% increase in total volume. Condos and Townhomes are showing stronger numbers in 2018 with a 15% increase in sales and a 23% increase in sales price. Both the Single Family and Luxury sales have been a bit soft, although lower inventory could be the culprit for lower single family sales.
The resort sale to Vail Resorts has created some real estate buzz and with the Epic Ski pass, we have seen more skier visitors this winter. I’m expecting a continued busy ski season which in turn pushes real estate sales up.
